Vestas are the only company in the UK that make wind turbines. Quite noble, yes? Well now they're shutting down their only UK factory on the Isle of Wight. Some of the people that work there thought that a recession would mean that more 'green' jobs would be created. Obviously not.

In situations like this, a British workforce will feel down and moan a bit. Quite often quietly. Refreshingly, these workers haven't, and they've followed similar action in Latin America and Scotland, and occupied the factory. Yay! Direct Action.
